This type of foundation system is typical for production builders and most likely to experience movement and\/or foundation problems if not designed properly. Our methodology and initial consultation allows the homeowner to understand the value of what we feel will be the best foundation which will last a lifetime for the specific location. Until a soil test is performed and a foundation type has been chosen and designed, these costs will be unknown. A typical slab on grade without piers in favorable soil may cost $6\/ft, however, this same foundation type may cost near $10\/ft in highly expansive soil.
