Geotechnical Engineering

To provide clients with the information necessary to make the best foundation design decisions, Eyncon Engineering offers comprehensive geotechnical investigation of the earth beneath the surface of your property or “subsurface strata”. Our site investigations include recognized ASTM methods of exploration such as disturbed, undisturbed and rock core sampling. Samples obtained during field exploration are transported to and tested in our state-of-the-art laboratory. After completion of laboratory testing, Our Engineers prepare clear, comprehensive analyses and engineering reports for our customers.

Structural Engineering

Most of the foundations we design are Post Tension. Post Tension Concrete Slabs or simply put, Post-Tensioning is a method of reinforcing concrete, masonry, and other structural elements. Post-Tension slabs are a method of pre-stressing. Pre-stressed concrete or masonry has internal stresses (forces) induced into it during the construction phase for the purpose of counteracting the anticipated external loads that it will encounter during its lifecycle.

Civil Engineering

We can prepare grading & drainage plans to City standards for new building pads, parking lot, access roads, courtyards, driveways, and paved areas. Plans will show building pad grading, sidewalk paving and curbs, parking lot paving and drainage, site drainage, and locations of new walls. Work includes preparation of associated earthwork calculations.

Surveying

ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey: a surveying standard jointly proposed by the American Land Title Association and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping that incorporates elements of the boundary survey, mortgage survey, and topographic survey.

Archaeological survey: used to accurately assess the relationship of archaeological sites in a landscape or to accurately record finds on an archaeological site.
