Rain and wind induced erosion causes the breakdown of soil structure and quality in addition to the loss of soil mass. Eroded soil suspended in runoff carries with it nutrients that affect the balance and clarity of water to the detriment of fish and other aquatic habitat. Excessive deposition of sediment in streams blankets stream beds thus destroying the habitat crucial to the survival of fish and other aquatic life.  We have worked on a number of sediment and erosion control projects and have recognized the differing needs of those projects. We work with architects and landscape consultants to address public and user needs in these projects.
